The Holiday Season!

The holiday season is in full effect! Every year is seems like the winter holidays come earlier and earlier! All of the malls are packed with busy shoppers attempting to get everyone a gift! Every house in my neighborhood is beautifully decorated with special decorations. Many of the houses have colored lights, white lights or a combination of both. There are also houses with inflatable characters in front like Santa, or Rudolph the Red Nosed Reindeer! Some other houses in my neighborhood are adorned with Hanukkah decorations. There are Menorahs in windows, and dreidel lights on their trees! Even the school that I work at is decorated! We have two Christmas trees beautifully decorated in the lobbies and also a Menorah shining in the front window. The best part of the school I work at are the Christmas carols in the morning. Every morning a different instrument from the band or orchestra is chosen to perform. The students who play these instruments stand in the lobby and serenade all of the students with seasonal songs! Everyone gets very excited when the children play and large groups of children gather around to listen! The holidays are quickly approaching! I can't wait for Christmas especially!
